I love the simple pleasures of life. I love the touch of the sun on my skin in the early morning. I love the smell of freshly laundered clothing. I love the sounds of children playing. And I love to see people enjoying their lives.
I realize not everyone has the privilege to love the things I have been able to love. Victims of sex slavery are individuals whose opportunity for even the most simple pleasures in life, have been stolen. Their lives are ruined by perversion and high jacked for the highest bidder. The FBI estimates the sex slave industry to be the third most profitable criminal enterprise in the world and continues to grow more every day both foreign and domestic.
My goal is to help these individuals. Many of whom are children. I am currently in school for Middle Eastern Studies. My plan is to finish my Bachelor’s degree and pursue a degree in international law focusing on human rights and humanitarian aid. One of my goals is to link all organizations who have taken a special interest in this particular human rights violation. The ultimate goal is to rescue as many people as possible so they too can enjoy their life. Through unity, education and support, I believe we can greatly impact the lives of those who have been forced into such an industry and change the course of history. As in the words of Winston Churchill, “History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.”
