All my life, I have always been an artistic person. When I was younger, my father saw how architecturally inclined I was as I liked to draw buildings and design floor plans. Because of this, he suggested to me about pursuing a career in architecture and it has been on my mind as my dream career ever since then.
As for how my dream career would change the world, the only way I could possibly think of is to work with Habitat for Humanity whose cause and efforts I highly admire. In working with Habitat for Humanity, it could accomplish three things for me. First is building and designing homes and with Habitat for Humanity, my visions for different homes can become a reality right before my eyes. Secondly, I can understand very many people get a good feeling from helping others and I know the same will also happen to me doing the same thing. Third, I highly respect Jimmy Carter who has always been of my favorite former Presidents. To either meet him in person, work with him or work with his organization would be a highly regarded highlight in my life.
In accomplishing my goals for this, the only thing I can think of is to search the organization’s website on how to join them and what I have to do next. As for designing homes, I would study whatever literature devoted to architecture I can find and what courses and subjects to learn to get there.
