I would chose to earn a living by working as a Physicians Assistant in a local doctors office for my community. Ever since I was a little girl, playing doctor was something I loved to do. My junior and senior years in high school was where I put my dream to the test to see if it was truly something I wanted to pursue in college. I was able to volunteer in a nursing home my junior year and earn my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. Something about putting others needs before my own; even if it was painting someone’s nails or simply brushing someone’s teeth, made me love medicine even more. My senior year I earned my EMT license and had the opportunity to see a different side of medicine. This I loved because I was challenged to think outside of the box and work with my team to help others in need. I now work at a pediatrician’s office and love getting to comfort the children during their visits. These are some goals I’ve set to gain different perspectives and experiences that will someday help me change the world by pursuing my love for medicine.
