Animals have always been my best friends and my passion, so I am working toward my lifelong goal to obtain a career that is focused on them because I want to spend the rest of my life helping animals in need. The combination of degrees I am pursuing through two different Purdue University campuses (Bachelor of Liberal Studies with Organizational Leadership concentration and Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology) should provide me with a solid foundation for a career in animal advocacy; the option to further my education even more and secure a Master’s Certificate in Non-Profit Management through Indiana University is also a consideration, since I am interested in shelter and rescue group management. I will be able to make an impact on the world in my future career by creating social movements through marketing and education on proper pet care and the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent overpopulation.
