My dream of helping individuals each day of my life will come true when I become a Speech Therapist. Since I was a little girl, I fantasized of becoming a doctor. I will pretend my stuffed animals were sick so I can cure them. As I became older, I learned that I wanted to specialize in Speech Pathology and work with kids. I am currently completing the Communication Disorders track at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. During my time at Stockton I aspire to join the Speech and Hearing Club, which will help me get closer to my dream. Also, I will work hard to become a member of Delta Zeta sorority because once I become a member I will have the opportunity to help kids with speech and/or hearing impairments. Of course, my main priority will always be my studies, which I will complete with the best of my abilities. After I obtain my undergraduate degree; I plan to attend The Master of Science in Communication Disorders Program at Stockton. My final step of becoming a Speech Therapist will be to apply for a license.
Throughout my college career, I know I would already be making a difference in the world because during my time volunteering, I will be bringing smiles to children with speech and hearing impairments. My dream will not be fully complete till the moment I have my license as a Speech Therapist and be able to practice on patients.
