If I could earn a living making people happy, that would be the best job ever. Just seeing other people happy makes me happy too. It would change people, make them positive and not technical. People nowadays think that they need to always be “hard”, but honestly they don’t. We still need people that are caring and loving. We have enough “hard” people, we simply need people that are softer, calmer, happier. Helping people, and showing them that you enjoy doing so is what makes people feel good. I want people to feel like they aren’t a burden to someone. And that would be a hard thing to take on, but I know that I could do it! How? I’d become a teacher.
I wouldn’t just teach english or math, I’d teach kids. I’d show them that I care and that I do want them to do well in life. Show them compassion, and let them develop and blossom without putting my own opinions into the mix. I think that in this generation, our parents all passed their knowledge and beliefs down to us. We had no agency to be free and see what its like to go to a different church, or eat something different, or even become friends with someone of a different race. I want to help kids and people grow organically, and not add anything to that healthy mixture.
