I am lucky I am going to school to do what I love, Ag/ Diesel Mechanics. You see nothing happens in this world without nutrition and you can not get nutrition without farmers. Farmers all around the United States use tractors and combines to work their fields, they also use semi-trucks and dump trucks to hail their harvest to processing plants. Then from the processing plant semi’s haul the produce to the markets all over the world to feed the masses. By keeping the farmers and other workers running I can help keep produce prices down and the world running and feed.
My goal after school is to return to my rural community possibility open up my own shop and become the guy that all the area farmers and small business owner come to and know that I am going to do the best job I can for them at a fair price. You see at my school we have the ability to purchase snap-on tools at a 55% discount, so my goal is to get as many tools at this discount as possible so when I graduate I do not have to worry about charging higher prices in order to be able to buy tools at retail prices and I can pass that savings onto my customers keeping produce prices down in the markets.
