To earn a living by doing what I love is a dream that I’m going to reach. This isn’t a matter of ‘If I could’ this is a matter of ‘When will I finally get my dream job’. My passion is foreign languages. I love foreign languages and traveling, and to be payed to work with foreign languages and to travel would be a dream come true. My dream job is translating and interpreting, and I have no doubt that my dream job can impact the world in a positive way. While working as a translator and interpreter, I would be helping the understanding between people, countries, cultures, and companies, and improving international business deals; thus, improving the economy, and improving international relations. This is my dream, to help other countries, cultures, and people understand each other so we can live in a world where mankind can coexist.
I don’t have very many in-depth goals, I just have a few general goals in place to help me achieve my dreams. First, be accepted to college. Check. Second, major in Japanese, and take classes in other languages as well. Graduate from college. I’m working on both of these. Get an internship or job shadow. Lastly, find a job, preferably in another country, as a translator or interpreter.
