If I were given the opportunity to earn a living doing what I loved the most, I’d be a biomedical engineer. I would use my time making the medicine that helps others while possibly working with others for new cures and treatments. I would spend my time making life easier for those with limited time, and possibly after many years maybe I can discover something wonderful that would not only prolong the life of some, but it could also put a smile on many faces.
I believe that with proper education, my great support team, and a few years of working in the field I could honestly change the world. Not by myself of course, I would have other biomedical engineers who would be just as dedicated as I am. Even though I would most like need a few years to get the hand of things, I’m positive I can change more than a few lives if I’m given the opportunity.
Personally, I believe that lives can be saved with science. I’d even go as far as to say that with science we can prevent diseases from even happening while the baby is still in the womb. Though I’m sure we’d have to wait many years for that. Yet there’s so much beauty with biomedical engineering, I’d love to explore it all and share the results with the world.
