If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would most definitely be in journalism/mass communication. I’ve always had a profound love for writing, and being able to create something out of nothing. There’s something so incredibly rewarding in that. Over the years, I’ve realized that there’s no greater feat than finding a career that you truly love and being able to work in that field to make a living. There are endless possibilities and opportunities.

As an aspiring journalist, I’d like to be one of few who write honest pieces. We often find that pieces are exaggerated and portray the subject in a certain light, rather than consulting with the subject to make sure they approve as well. Exaggerations could be harmful to the subject, to yourself, and to the publication that you are writing for. It may not change the world, but it would be a step in the right direction. I’d also refuse to take any part of paparazzi stalking people for a story. If I were able to work for, or start, a magazine I’d definitely only agree to scheduled interviews and photo shoots. Honest journalism is rare now a days, and I’d like to be one of those few who stay true to my word.
