I never knew what I wanted to do with my life. I always knew I had a passion for motivating and inspiring others, but it wasn’t until after giving my Father’s eulogy back in April 2013 that I knew I wanted to become a motivational speaker. My Mother was very upset that we didn’t have a family Priest to speak at my Father’s funeral, so I volunteered. I did not prep a thing, and just spoke from my heart. Tons of people came up to me afterwards and told me that they felt the type of relationship my Father and I had. They told me it was inspiring. I have set several goals in my life, and every time you reach one of those goals, you build confidence. I want to help others do things they never thought they could do. Being a closeted male for 24 years, I also would love to take my inspirational speaking and spread the word of equality. So I quit my job of 8 and ½ years back in June and I am heading back to school this August. The first goal is to get that degree, get qualified to speak publicly. The second goal is to either join or start my own non-profit to benefit spreading love and equality. My generation needs a voice of love and hope.
