Earning a living doing what I love to do would come from art. Creating pieces that others admire exhilarates a side of me that enjoys helping. The magic of art would help me change the world; I would introduce it to children from all over as a way of self-expression. As a person who grew up feeling suffocated by emotions and trying to get answers from the outside world, a world that did not have any answers, I know how it must be for children living during this expanding time. There is so much going on around us; so many images that tell us who we must be. It is really through finding yourself, who you are, and what makes you happy that the self is found. I want everyone to realize their unique self-value and I want to help them do this through the use of art as a self-expression and emotional release tool. This journey of the self should start at a young age and that is why I will take the following steps to help the youth grow in free and open way with who they are. Attending school for business and art are my first steps. With a background in business I will be able to start a non-profit organization that will travel the world and make art with children, through these excursions we will share the message that everyone is a unique being and that art is their tool to express and show their value.
