Imagine a world where we had no knowledge of past cultures or even how the world was made. A world where everyone was oblivious to everything and no one dared to question how? Or why? The job of an Archaeologist isn’t easy, and many do take it for granted. These people educate the public and they dig deep into a world that we as regular people can only imagine. As an Archaeologist I would be changing the world every time I would come across an artifact. Archaeologist obtain knowledge of other cultures and civilizations through the remains that they leave behind. Many of us today might think Archaeologists only dig things from the ground, but this is completely untrue. Archaeologists do so much more than just dig a hole in the ground, in fact they fill in the holes/ gaps in our civilization that we can’t figure out. There are so many unanswered questions about the world and about civilizations that lived before us. I want to be someone who comes across those mysteries I want to understand how other civilizations survived in a world with so little to offer, to go back to the days when things were simple to understand how we can do the same today and maybe learn from any mistakes that were made. I want to change the world by uncovering the past. I want to have the ability to create a future from our past, that is the greatest thing a person can do.
