It’s easy to tell these days how the media affects our world, and a big part of that is movies. When was the last time you left a theater feeling really good? Movies follow whatever pattern that the studios believe will make them the most money, and originality is out the door. My long term goal is to get a foothold in the movie industry and make a name for myself so I can eventually acquire the notoriety to start writing and directing my own films and help steer the industry towards something greater.

Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for creating scenes in my head; be it for movies or music videos, my mind has always worked better with moving images than still ones. Writing down ideas and scripts for films and eventually getting to make them is the one thing I really want to be able to do. Even if it’s not a box-office smash, doing a full-length independent film is my current goal. I have the ideas in my head and a few scripts written out, but I don’t have the funds or influence to take it farther than that.

Movies should be fun, wholesome and uplifting. Even a good horror movie can do that. My ideal goal would be to change the world of movies so that I can also change the world. I want to change the way people see movies; when you change the way people see, new things become possible.
