Equality is something that most people believe America is based on when in fact there is very little equality in the “land of the free.” I love speaking to others about making America a stronger nation by banding together and providing equality for all instead of continuing with the subtle and sometimes outright discrimination of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender. By speaking about something I am passionate about, I hopefully will be able to make other people realize how important it is to put an end to discrimination and work together to make America, and eventually the world, a stronger and better place to live without all the hate. I plan to start out by finding people that agree with my views and are willing to be bold and attempt to spread our message of anti discrimination to everyone that is willing to listen. It will take a lot of hard work and there are always going to be people that disagree completely with the notion of equality for all, but if I can manage to make even a few people feel as passionately about it as I do and continue to spread the positive message, then I will feel like I am succeeding even if it is in the smallest possible way. I hope to eventually be able to speak to large crowds about learning to accept everyone and put past taught prejudices behind. My main goal is to bring much needed equality into the world.
