I love to be there. You know, to be that one person that really does care and has a heart for another person. The early years are hard. Do you remember being young and having a head full of dreams and thoughts? You must also remember at least one person telling you those musings were useless and unimportant. Remember at least one time in your life where you felt like there was not a soul on the earth who believed you could amount to anything? I know I do. If I could earn a living doing anything it would be that of an encourager to young people. I love to encourage. I do not wish to analyze and I do not wish to control. I would just love to be a positive voice in a young life. To reach in and touch someone who has been hurt by others, to encourage them that God loves them, He cares, and He has good plans for them. To tell someone I WANT to see that they succeed and I BELIEVE that they can. Why young people? I believe the future is affected by the past. If even one adolescent had someone come alongside them and tell them they could- well… who knows all the things they could do, things they could be, things they could dream? One person cannot change the world, but maybe I could make encouragement contagious. Perhaps that is one epidemic the world would not mind experiencing.
