The one thing I’m very passionate about is math. I would love to become a math teacher and teach students in high school calculus. I believe calculus is an essential into math and science majors. Students should go into college prepared for a higher level of math and use these skills for advanced level problems. I want my students to expand their minds and use their talents to help the world. Even though I would be just teaching calculus, I believe I’d help prepare them for college level math classes. They would understand the materials easier and could easily adjust into the class setting. These students would enter college knowing their basics very well. I hope my students will be amazing and learn to change the world. I think teaching the basics could help students learn topics that are more difficult and in-depth. It would require critical thinking. The only choice I have is to go to college and get a degree in mathematics, possibly even a masters. College is an opportunity to learn even more than you would in high school. You learn more reasoning skills for higher level problems and even for life. It helps to expand your brain and to think outside the box. While in college, I’d become a tutor or assistant and help students in math. It would allow me to develop skills with kids and learn how to communicate with them. Lastly, I would work at a high school and become a great teacher.
