If I could do anything in this world it would be to educate individuals about the wonders of space. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in astrophysics and will then continue on to get my doctorates in astrophysics. I am sure I will spend most of my career doing research for either NASA or privately owned corporations, which is also a passion of mine. However I would much rather spend my time babbling away about space and space exploration to a classroom full of students. The reason I do not pursue this dream is because of strictly financial reasons. I cannot afford graduate school and all the expenses on the salary of a teacher. In time I will switch over to lecturing and informing a younger generation of all there is to know about space and space exploration. I have not yet decided which grade I would find most fitting, but I have narrowed it down to either high school seniors or college freshmen. My passion for educating the younger generations comes from famous astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson. His work and lectures inspired me to pursue my dream in becoming an astrophysicist. So I simply wish to return the favor and hopefully inspire some individuals as he inspired me.
