I would like to become an eco-friendly fashion designer. My major is fashion design and I am learning how to apply environmentally friendly habits when I design and create clothing. I like to use vegan leather and organic cotton for my garments and I am finding resources on new eco-friendly fabrics that can be used in the future.

The fashion industry plays a huge role in negative environmental impacts in our ecosystem and I would like to become one of the people to change that. Once I graduate from college and gain a few years of experience in the fashion industry, I would like to start a sustainable fashion company that uses eco-friendly fabrics and in-house labor. Using eco-friendly fabrics is not only better for the world, but also promotes consumers and other companies to have garments that is not harmful to our environment. In-house labor create and maintain jobs for people in the United States and minimizes child labor and sweatshops.
