I enjoy being an early childhood educator, and I believe that it is within my responsibility to provide a positive learning experience for young children. I will confidently model respect, patience, and care among the children and adults I come in contact with. It is within my duty to care for the children’s needs and offer them a proper education. My philosophy is highly influence by theorists Piaget and Vigotsky. Children learn and develop as they explore the world around them, and I as an early childhood educator must support and encourage them to observe, promote critical thinking and as well as understand as they grow. My role as a teacher is to create enriching activities that will engaged children to learn and figure out new discoveries that they may carry with them throughout their life. I would want them to recognize their strengths as well as work on their weaknesses. I want to build close relationships with both the children and their families in order for the children to become engaged and learn to their fullest potential. As an early childhood educator, I want to build a comfortable environment where children and families of different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds can feel welcomed an accepted. I want to produce a high quality program where children are free to explore, engage in positive interactions and engage in projects and activities that interest them so that they can explore and learn.
