Dreams

If I could make a living doing what I love the most it would be becoming a nurse. I want to be a nurse not for

the reason that it is a secure job or that it pays a decent salary, but ever since I was a child I have had this desire

to help out and make a difference in people’s lives. To see people smile and tell me thank you every day for helping

them sends me into euphoria; their joy melts my heart, and they become my inspiration to continue moving forward

and achieve my dream.

Furthermore, I want to travel the world and serve people who are stricken with illness. I can make this dream

a reality by going to college and getting good grades, taking all the prerequisites classes, and apply to the nursing

program beginning at MiraCosta College. After that, I plan to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing

Licensing Exam to become a registered nurse. I will then transfer to Cal State San Marcos Nursing program to get

my Bachelor’s Degree. Finally, I will apply to one of the hospitals in my community.

My dreams may seem unbelievable to other people, but I know I can achieve this dream and make it a

reality, because my determination is stronger than any obstacles. I want to achieve this dream not only for me, but

more so for my future patients, family, and future generations.
