If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would definatly have to be Public Speaking. Almost ten years ago, I had a soccer injury which lead to me spending two and a half years on crutches unable to really walk, in the worst pain of my life and in the most depressing state that I have ever experienced.
But one day a very influential Physical Therapist said something to me that I have never forgotten; because of what she said to me, from that day on I choose to fight back and not give up, now I can walk, run, and just live life.
Within the past year I have been on five speaking engagements to various schools and universities where I speak on what I went through. Along with how to continue fighting whatever is going on and to keep pushing forward, as a motivational speaker would.
I absolutely love doing this because I have been told by staff members of these facilities the differences they have been told by their students and how their perspectives of life have changed for the better.
Changing the world is not the easiest task. When I can reach out and speak to a crowd full of students or adults I am not only helping change the world for the better but I am helping to change that one persons life who chooses to listen. In doing that I can help change their world for the better too.
