Dream Academy

If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would combine my passion to create and teach, to open an after school academy for students K-12. The program would be an outlet for students to utilize their creative minds and nurture their special skills, as well as provide a safe environment for children, while parents fulfill their career duties.

Students would have the opportunity to spend their time at the academy participating in things that interest them as well as take advantage of tutoring services. The academy would provide an outlet for students to occupy their time with educational activities, and will hopefully give each child an advantage to become a positive contributor in society as they enter higher education and/or the work force. The program would be geared to recognize each child’s special skills and talents. Then the students would be placed in their specific program, where they would have opportunities to work at their own pace utilizing, developing, and challenging their skill level.

To make my dream a reality I am in school to become an Early Childhood Educator. My desire to become a teacher comes from my love for children, my desire to help them learn and grow, and the desire to give back to society by being a positive influence to children and encouraging change in their lives.
