Happiness is what everyone seeks in life. If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would be a nurse. Being a nurse would give my life purpose. What I love to do most is help people and make people feel better and those things are the basic fundamentals of nursing.
Some people might argue that someone who is only a nurse couldn’t change the world. I disagree with that because nurses are needed everywhere in the world and make a huge difference in people’s health and well-being. Being a nurse may not make a huge impact on the world all at once, but it certainly does make small differences that will eventually lead to a lasting impression.
Some people may not realize the importance of nurses. But, just think. Who is the first person you see when you have a cold and go to the doctor’s office? Or who is the first person to check on you when you get hurt and have to go to the Emergency Room? The people you see first are nurses. They may not seem important to you at the time, but you wouldn’t have gotten to better health without them.
Nursing is where I plan to take my life when I graduate high school. I am certain it is what I want to do with my life to become fulfilled as a person and I’m counting down the days until I can finally start nursing school.
