My dream is to write and to somehow get people to read. I am a poet at heart, and I love the whole world of words, and I want to be a part of it. In theory, this would mean becoming a published poet and possibly a professor of creative writing, so I could help others realize their own potential through words, and simultaneously express themselves while documenting their culture for posterity and each new generation of people.

Not only would I be training a new generation to do so, but I also would be documenting my world for new generations to read. This is beneficial for the same reason history is taught in schools; those who are unaware of the past are doomed to repeat it. Also, I truly believe that art is such a necessary part of human existence, and by adding to the collection of American art, I too will be influencing future artists, just as I have been influenced by the artists before me, like Emily Dickinson, Charles Bukowski, and Robert Frost.
