My goal and dream is to be an Animator at Pixar Animation Studios. I want to be the one to put a smile on a child’s face by creating films and work that they will enjoy. Animated movies, especially for this generation, is appreciated and loved for the realistic detail, quirky characters, and funny one-liners. Changing the world would be a fun challenge. Whether films, shows, or video games, animation has a way to bring friends and families together to sing in song or relate to characters that reflect their personality. I believe studying in the Animation program would be my first step into making my dreams come true. As I become a better educated leader, I will have a more apparent sense of whom I am, what I want to do with my life, and how I can better develop and go through with my own vision. Taking classes and looking for internships are ways that can help to better hone the skills I have necessary to become the Animator I desire to be. Interning is also a great benefit to put me one step closer to my career path in possibly getting a job. Talking to professors and other artists about their tips and pointers on how they became successful artists is an inspiration to do and be better, to enhance my skillset, and work on creating an outstanding portfolio I would be proud of. More than anything, to make my dream come true is to pray to God that I do what’s necessary to succeed, as well as, practice to make myself a stronger artist.
