If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be telling people my stories. I hope that my stories will give people courage to face failures and become success.
At the age of eighteen, I went to America dreaming that I would get a bachelor degree and build a good life. Back then, the way to success was beautifully imagined in my mind. Well, the realities jumped in quick; I could not handle the expensive tuition for long while working part time. Additionally, making money was not as easy as I imagined. Shortly, I quit school and felt depress; the dreams of an easy life collapsed too swift and it was hard to comprehend. I was so young; I was nineteen year old.
After a couple months, I decided to earn my education by a different path; I joined the US Army. It was a tough decision but I got what I joined for. The Army paid for my education as long as I work hard and diligence. Often, I had to stay up past midnight to do courses’ work; I was keen and had a goal. After four years, I got an Associate Degree paid for by the Army.
Now, I am at a better position than where I was four years ago. I am more realistic on what I can do and should do. Thus, if I could earn a living from telling my stories in hope of boosting people self esteem, I would.
