Imagine looking at a hundred pairs of sad puppy eyes begging you to take them home. I love dogs; if my house were big enough I would have at least five running around all the time. Fortunately for my family I work at a doggy daycare and get my dog fill there every day.

This being said, if could make a living doing anything it would be running no-kill animal shelters in all of the fifty states of America. Sure, I wouldn’t be rich doing this but I believe that the satisfaction I would get knowing we’ve provided these dogs with a temporary loving home greatly outweighs any monetary satisfaction. If I could have my way, any type of animal control place would be shut down or all their dogs would be transported to my no-kill animal shelter.

By creating these shelters across the U.S. it would reduce the homeless dog population. Dogs deserve to be treated just as well as we treat ourselves. They give us unconditional love and companionship no matter how we treat them. These shelters would give dogs (and cats) the love that they deserve.

Ultimately I feel like animals need a good home because they just want to be loved. I feel that even if no one wants them, these shelters would give them a family and keep them off the streets to fend for their lives. You can call me a crazy dog lady if you want but dogs deserve to be treated well.
