If I could earn a living doing what I love the most it would be, simply put, to help mend broken marriages and families. A big issue in society today is divorce, broken families due to divorce, and families broken by disagreement, financial issues, etc. I believe that society today speaks too much on giving up without trying. I would like to help be that mediator to many broken families. This would not just change society, but the world because the families that were once broken is not only mended, but it takes less strain off of the peer pressures added to life. For instance, a child of a divorced family is more likely going to get involved into trouble than a child from a whole family. I want to help bring these marriages and families to a place of recognition and compromise. That it is no longer about taking care of yourself, but of each other. My goals to get to this dream have ultimately fallen into place as I have taken my next step into this by getting my Bachelors degree in Psychology, and my Masters degree in Family and Marital Therapy. When I graduate I plan to work along side my church as well as have my own practice open. I can only hope that this will be one step closer to mended and whole marriages and families.
