Though I have had a hard time getting into a routine of working out and eating healthy, I feel tremendously better when I do. That is why I have chosen to be a Kinesiology major and am trying to get my own habits turned around. I actually enjoy running and exercising. It makes me feel powerful. And, if I could fulfill my dream of being in a job that actively incorporates fitness into my life and the lives of others, I would be ecstatic.
This is why I want to go into corporate fitness. Office workspaces can be so monotonous and the employees tend to lack the necessary activity the human body needs to be healthy because they are sitting behind a desk all day, or not eating proper and rounded meals. By being a corporate fitness instructor or planner, I can help these atmospheres become more energetic. When people exercise, they tend to feel better. And, when people feel better, their productivity tends to go up. In this way, I would be helping companies become more efficient while also aiding the employees in living healthier lives despite sitting at a desk day-in and day-out. Seeing others make progress in their lives would also be extremely rewarding for myself because I would know that I actually had a hand in making somebody’s life just a little bit better.
