It all began my junior year in high school when I took a computer animation class. Growing up, I always enjoyed drawing and watching cartoons and animated movies, so I decided to take the computer animation program my school offered to get an insight into how the Big-Shots do what they do. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would and I started understanding how things worked and the process you had to take to get what you wanted. After I finish my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Animation I plan to do something along that field and explore my creative abilities. Whether it’s creating 2-D or 3-D work, or helping with the story-boarding, I plan to create. Using my imagination I want to bring emotion and feeling to everyone in the world, and make them feel with the characters I create. I want my stories and animations to make people see things differently, and tell stories that haven’t been told yet. I’ve seen numerous Disney movies and I know they aren’t just about princesses in distress. They go on journeys and discover many things and have hidden messages in between. When I start creating, I want people to watch and know that it makes sense to them and that they can connect on a deeper level. Life lessons, fantasy, everything…I just want to create something that everyone can relate to or enjoy because growing up animated movies and shows have taught me meaningful lessons and have made me feel.
