It’s been a long time since I’ve been out of high school. It’s taken me almost ten years to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, but I’ve finally realized what career path I would love to follow. Ever since I was little I’ve always loved to play video games. Hobbies have come and gone, but I have always loved playing video games. More recently I have learned that I am a good writer and decided that I would love to write story lines for video games.
I have completed my first semester at community college and will be starting at Full Sail University in September to attend the Video Game design program. I am currently working to obtain more knowledge outside of school by watching tutorials on programming and bug fixing. I will also be attending the Video Game Designers Conference in San Francisco in 2017, before I finish college, to better my chances of finding a job after school. I’ve been networking with game design students to help gain a better understanding of what will be required of me during school. I’m very excited to work my way through this program so that I can have a successful career doing something that I love.
