If I could earn a living doing what I love most I would be a Registered Nurse. I love the feeling of helping someone get better, and seeing them progressively become stronger then they came in. I want to be able to put smiles upon faces that may believe that they can’t make it much farther. I enjoy helping those around me, If I can help someone I will because I never see a reason not to. I believe when I emerge in the health care profession I will try my hardest to change the meaning of a nurse. I don’t want to just be the person that bathes and take care of the necessities people need while in the hospital; I want to be a friend. I want the patients I care for to feel as though I am there for them and will only do things that will benefit them. I also want the term ‘Nurse’ to be recognized as the person who helps you when you’re down and keeps you moving forward. In order for me to make all my goals real, I intend to attend school at Towson University, move forward into their nursing program, and graduate at the top percentile of my class. I also intend to do more around the campus, such as join SGA or the welcoming committee, to make sure students know that there are people who are approachable and willing to help them if and when they need it.
