Money is always an issue being in college. Some students, like myself, worry about financial situations almost every day. Being a young adult, I have learned that sometimes the things you love to do aren’t the best paths to take if you worry about finances. If I had a choice to choose whatever I wanted to be without having to worry, I would choose to be a motivational speaker for high school students. Everyone has a unique background story, and I would love to help motivate students to become their very own person. Growing up my family went through a lot of hard times, like most families do, and it was hard for me to feel like I had a purpose in life. Sometimes whenever you fall down over and over again, you stop trying to reach for people’s hands and eventually just want to stay down. My ultimate goal as a motivational speaker would be to tell the students to get up and keep going. That every time they fall down, it’s another opportunity for them to realize life brings new days and new doors to open. In order to become a motivational speaker, the goals I would set for myself would to find out different stories from different people far and wide to understand how they accomplished their goals. With this information, I could connect with my audience more. Really making sure that they are understanding where I am coming from and that I’m here to help.
