I am 23 years old and I am on my way to earning a living doing what I love the most, and that helping children. Since I was 1 years old and my little brother was born my mom said I always wanted to take care of him. That same attitude has followed me through my entire life. I am going to be a social worker helping children in any way that I can. I will also open a group home for young girls by the time that I am 26, and I plan to eventually own a string of group homes for girls and boys. This year I plan to start an organization that reaches out to young girls and boys with self-esteem issues. My organization will travel to schools, group homes, and social services having workshops and group chats about what these kids may be going through. When I was 13 I had extremely low self-esteem, I was depressed and even contemplated suicide. It took for a lady at my church to hold a “girl talk” group to help me overcome this horrible phase of life. My group homes, social work, and organizations will change the world one helpless child at a time. We will work towards overcoming any and everything these children may be faced with. My work will not only be to help them emotionally, but we will work to provide clothes, food, and shelter to those who need it. I will change the world!
