My dream is to change the world by turning my passions into a career. I love science. I love talking about science, exploring nature, and teaching what I know to children. I will become a middle school science teacher and use my passion to give tomorrow’s scientists the knowledge they need to succeed.
I believe that a great teacher has enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience. Currently, I am taking courses at Lorain County Community College with the intention of transferring my credits to the university partnership of Ashland University. At both educational establishments, I will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge I need to be a success. I plan on staying inspired by incorporating many courses of interest into my school schedule. To do my very best as a science teacher, I will need experience in both teaching and experience in the field of science. In order to get experience as a teacher, I have acquired my assistant teacher certification. I will teach as an assistant at the local middle school for this upcoming school year. Courses at both of my schools can offer even more experiences in teaching, as well as a variety of hands-on science classes I can take.
By contributing to the lives of these young scientists-to-be, I will in turn be changing the world. As a science teacher, I hope to educate and inspire students to do the best they can in the ever-changing world of tomorrow.
