This question is honestly something that I think about almost every day. To start, I am VERY interested in other cultures, customs, and languages. I have been studying Korean on my own for about a year and a half and I am taking French and International Studies in college. I have never traveled outside of the U.S. and I have been dreaming about it for so long. I have finally been given the opportunity to study abroad in England next semester, which is the main reason I’m looking for scholarships.

My main goals in life are to live happily and help others. At this point, I have no clue how to reach those goals, but through the help of my school, family, and local business owners, I hope to map out a plan of how to create my own business and start helping the world as wholeheartedly as I can. I really hope to be able to start my own foundation one day because there are so many people who need help and are not getting it. If I can’t start my own business right away, I want to either work in the Peace Corps or as a translator and be able to travel and experience communicating with people around the world. I hope to work with as many foundations as possible throughout my lifetime; and if I can make a difference in one person’s life in every country around the world, I think that I can rest peacefully.
