I have always had a passion for the healthcare industry, and someday will work towards becoming a Physician’s Assistant. Being a physician assistant would change the world, because it would add another skilled health professional who is committed to serving those around me. In order to achieve this dream, I would first work at a hospital. Then, after obtaining valuable experience and expertise, the next step would be to opening my own practice in an under-served part of Kansas. This would ensure that there would be another clinic that families could go to. Not only that, I would then like to volunteer with the Doctors without Borders, and help the children of Africa. Ebola, right now, is wreaking havoc upon some of the countries in Africa. I would like to help assist in treating children and bringing a new hope to their eyes. Many children and families in these poverty-stricken countries cannot afford medical treatment and usually die prematurely because of this. It would be my goal to not only own my own practice, but also to organize a trip with all of the doctors at my practice to go over to Africa. This is how I will someday soon change the world. With the right amount of education, and determination, I will make it happen. As the saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way.
