After finishing my bachelor’s degree next summer, I will continue on to achieve my master’s degree as a Physician’s Assistant. After graduation my son and I will buy a home to fill with laughter. I look forward to spending my life devoted to the well-being of others and my son. I love everything about my current career in the operating room and my rewarding job as a single mother. Becoming a Physician’s Assistant allows me to become the caregiver and mother I want to spend the rest of my life being. I look forward to making a compassionate difference in the world and to early morning soccer games, hockey practice, recitals or science fairs. In whatever my son decides to do I plan to be his loudest and biggest fan.
I will change the lives of many people whether directly or indirectly. I hope my strength and compassion will heal, encourage and change those whose lives I have the privilege to be a part of, whether in small or great capacity, with a positive energy. I wish to resume medical missions and to bring my son along when he is older so that he will know more of the world and learn and grow to have compassion for those in it. I hope to be a strong positive role model that will encourage him to become a strong, educated and independent man so that he will go forward in the world and make a difference as well.
