If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would be Counselor. I want to help people understand mental illness and how it effects everyone. I feel like there is not enough support in the world for those with psychological disorders. Mental Health is something that should be accessible to everyone.
From personal experience finding one person in the world who understands can change your life. I want to be that person. If I can make one persons life better I will do it. One small change can lead to big changes. If one person is living a better life, they can influence others to improve theirs as well. I don’t believe a change has to be big to effect the world. It starts with one individual and it radiates out as other people come in contact with that individual.
Today unhappiness is all too common. We may have overcame our most basic needs, but now there is a greater need form emotional support and compassion. I want to offer that support others, so they have at least one person they feel safe talking to. As people become more independent from one another often they do not seek the help they need. If you can change even one person so they feel better about life, you can change the world.
