One child matters. That short sentence is one that truly has made a difference in my life. If I could make a living doing what I love most, it would be making that statement a reality. Traveling around the world or simply through my own city and making a difference in the lives of others is something I love to do. If I could make a living caring for others, I could change the world one person at a time. Children have a special place in my heart and I feel as though reaching the young first is how the largest impacts on families and world as a whole take place. To achieve my goal of changing people’s lives, I would make sure to build relationships in the community. I believe that helping kids with homework and playing games with them is a simple way to build relationships with them and their parents as well. Showing families how to work together to improve where they are currently at would then spout from these relationships. I would help in any way I could: help with job searches, help tutor, use my passion for Spanish to teach English to Spanish speakers, and much more. Teaching plain and simple lessons to children and their to help people get out of situations they may be stuck in would be a world changer if only the goals I set while volunteering can become a reality. One child matters: change can be made in this world.
