If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, it would be to care for people when they are in need. This is why I’ve decided that I wanted to major in nursing. Nurses teach their patients on how to live a better lifestyle, educate them about the disease that could be affecting them. They also teach the patient coping skills when times are stressful. Nursing can change the world by caring for patients and reassuring them that we are here to help people get better. They volunteer most of their time so the world can be a healthier place to live in. I have taken a step already into making my dreams a reality. In high school, I have taken a nursing assistant class. I enjoyed every minute of it. For clinicals, we went to a nursing home to practice our skills. It wasn’t easy, but at the end of the day you feel great because you know you have made someone’s day by helping them. After taking the class, I’ve taken the exam to become certified, and now as a certified CNA, I’m proud of myself. Now I’m planing to attend St. Cloud State University to major in nursing to earn my bachelors degree. I hope to further my education and earn a masters.
