If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would open a cancer research center that would be available to low income families. My reason for this proposal is due to the fact that I lost my beloved mother on July 4th, 2012 after her third battle with cancer took her life. My plan would be to provide a cancer diagnosis center, research facility, an online website, treatment facility and counseling for victims and the families of victims who have been subjected to cancer. I lost my mother before the age of 18 which was extremely difficult; so my hopes would be to reach all who fall victim to cancer, especially those who are poverty stricken or low income like my family was.
In order to make this dream a reality, I would begin networking and finding sponsorships that would donate to the foundation. I would then gather up all funds and loans that would be associated with creating the foundation and begin constructing the research center. Once that has been taken care of, I would begin hiring employees and make a grand opening date. Within the first couple of years based off of success and profit of the organization I would plan to open facilities nationwide and eventually extend globally. This has truly been a dream of mine since my mother passed away, and this scholarship would mean the world to me since I am an independent student and paying out of state tuition.
