Growing up, all of my nutrients came from a can. My meat, over cooked. My noodles, from a 30-sec microwave packet. Kids shouldn’t have that! Kids should be encouraged to eat healthy, embrace the colors of veggies, to love the ripeness of a banana. Once I graduate I hope to make a kid friendly restaurant with kid friendly food groups. Themed plates to get the little ones hooked, and healthy ways to play with our food for our older rebellious kids who love to do what they’re told not to do. I would like to incorporate a way to teach them how to make what they order at home so they’ll grab that healthier snack over a bag of chips or something with a high chemical content.
