Everybody has that one dream, but do they actually take time to make it really come to life. All my life I have always been one to help others out, before helping myself first. Seeing that smile on someone else’s face, because I put it there makes my day. If I could be helping someone every second or minute of the day, I believe I would truly be happy. Ever since my Freshman year in high school I have wanted to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. I know as a PTA I can help patients change their lives, either by helping them live easier by helping their bodies work with them and not against them, or just even being there emotionally as well. I have experienced being helped by PT’s, and PTA’s and I honestly want to be just like each one that worked with me. Being able to help someone in need, or knowing that I can help make a difference in someone else’s life; really does bring joy to mine. This fall I am starting my CNA classes, just to start working in the medical field until I am done with my PTA program. I believe by becoming a CNA I can truly learn about different patients, and also the different environments I may encounter later on in my future career. One of my other goals this semester and in the future, I am wanting to start volunteering myself for different organizations that help others in need, but also may benefit me in the future as a PTA. I don’t want to just fantasize about becoming a PTA or just tell people that is what my dream is to become. I want to actually make it come true, to make myself happy knowing that I could or can go to work everyday helping others in need.
