My hobbies include riding my bike and traveling among other things. So if I were to make a living doing what I love, I would be making bikes. More specifically, I would try and improve bikes so that they are both more affordable and more usable to sell around the world. In order to reach this goal, I am going to college and I intend to major in Mechanical Engineering and possibly minor in Entrepreneurship. For a lot of people biking can be a hassle. Along with that, people have to worry about their bike, or at least parts of their bike, getting stolen if left outside for an extended period of time. Currently, bikes are not very easy to use while carrying things such as groceries or heavy items unless you buy expensive extensions. If these problems were fixed, I believe that more people would consider using a bike rather than a car to go about their daily business. If this were to happen, CO2 emissions would be reduced. It could also help the overall health of “car commuter countries” such as the US as well as other places where biking is not a common mode of transportation. If I could spend my time revolutionizing the bike industry and traveling around to sell it, that is how I would want to earn a living.
