If I could do what I love most it would be nursing. Their are many people in the world who want to become a nurse and think it is just a piece of cake or just another job. I do not believe this because I have been a certified nurses aid for almost 2 and a half years now and those patients wait to see you everyday. Most of them get so excited to have someone there for them when they are at their lowest point. You change peoples lives and can become the reason that they have a good or a bad day. I never said being nurse was going to be easy, but being able to help someone I believe is changing the world. Being a nurse with a soft touching hand is helping those patients get through with a happy helping hand. I want to be the nurse that gives that patient another out look on life that they can get through the surgery or cancer that they are trying to fight and push past. I want to be the nurse that they cannot wait to see the next day and they trust with all of their heart. Being a nurse does change the world because you are taking time away from you family to take care of others and missing holidays and time with your own family members that could be important. My goals to become a nurse is get through my current program and then move on to my RN BSN and maybe even continue on to my masters. I will study hard and put time into my career. I will take a patient that is in a bad mood and try to turn their day around and go into work with a positive outlook even if I have had a horrible night before hand.
