If I could earn a living being a photographer, my goal would be more than just changing the world. I would strive to be different than others and show the good in this cruel world. In order to make my dream a reality, I need the best equipment, even if it’s with a simple camera and lens. A scene can be transformed with just these items. I don’t need schooling for this. No one can teach you to be talented or different. You can’t train your eyes to see the beauty, it just comes naturally. Not everything is meant to be beautiful, but that’s where I come in to capture all the details in a picture and raise awareness and hopefully get help for these people. A photograph can capture great moments even through grief. Capturing people helping one another through a devastating time shows not every person is bad. Friendships can be made and happiness can shine through a traumatic event. My goal is to capture the true emotions in a persons face. Show the true beauty and the internal beauty. Everyone has those moments of insecurity, but I want to show through that. I would do so by having them act normal and catch the emotion they show versus the true and very inner emotion they feel. If I could make a living being a photographer, I would look past what the average person glimpses at. There is a story behind everything. I want to capture that story.
