With every beat created, with every harmony sung, and with every voice heard—Music is what I love the most. From one day to the next, music is a part of life that does not seem to let me down. In any circumstance, my whole world can be turned around with just one simple listen of the right song. Music changes my world every day: it makes me a better person, it makes me a happier person, and it makes me feel like I am not invisible. One song can change a life forever, I know from personal experience, but to know I have changed someone’s life forever through words, vocals, and beats I discovered would make me feel like I have been put on this Earth for a reason. If I could do that for a living, have the knowledge that someone is listening to a song that I gave an artist the opportunity to create, I would love my job more than words can describe.
Owning a record label can seem far-fetched, but it is attainable by knocking out one goal at a time. To start, I want to learn from the bottom up. I will go from being a booking agent for an artist, to marketing for a record label, then working my way up the ladder from there. Once I learned the ins and outs of the business, of course, I would then branch out on my own and make my dreams become a reality.
