Plain and simple; if I could earn a living by being a nurse for the rest of my life I would be most grateful. I’m currently enrolled in a nursing program, going into my sophomore year, and I already love what I am discovering. My love for learning about the human body and how to take care of it is like no other. Most ask why I don’t just become a doctor because it pays better and comes with a more honorable title. My answer? Nurses are the angels of the medical field, in my eyes. I’m aiming to be the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind nurse that can be bestowed upon a patient. My studying will be intensive and detailed because being a more informed nurse will just make my experience more exciting. Patients in hospitals usually need emotional stability to aid them in their recovery after a physical trauma. Whether the trauma is extreme or could be fixed with a small band-aid, a nurse, just like my future self, should be prepared to handle any situation thrown at them with sympathy and a professional attitude.
